    Seoul was among the 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) selected by the Rockefeller Foundation in 2016, and the city released its first resilient strategy, Resilient Seoul, in 2019. In addition, by opening the International Urban Resilience Forum, Seoul, along with 14 of its peer cities worldwide, introduced the Declaration for Strengthening Urban Resilience. On December 9, 2020, Seoul will host its second resilience forum to redefine the work of the 2019 Seoul Declaration and discuss new approaches to enhancing urban resilience in the era of COVID-19 and tightening global networks.
