  The Safety & Disaster Prevention Research Division helps create a safe environment in
  Seoul that protects citizens from disasters. We develop sustainable technologies to protect the
  lives and property of citizens from disasters so that citizensc an enjoy safe and happy lives.
  The Safety & Disaster Division conducts research on advanced and innovative
  technologies to proactively prepare for various urban issues such as safety accidents, meteorological
  disasters, storms and floods, fires, aging facilities, and to prepare the city for safety in the future.
  We lead research on both advancing technology policies and developing technologies to respond to
  public anxiety over disasters and to provide a safe environment with the goal of building a smart and
  safe city using innovative technologies and new materials in the 4th Industrial Revolution.
