This is a device that automatically opens and closes the floodgate according to the water level difference in sea, river
or stream, which does not require manpower or driving power and operates automatically by the water pressure
difference.
Passive floodgate, installed in sluice, closed conduit or sewerage to prevent backflow of seawater, closes the gate in case
of emergency as it rises due to buoyancy. By installing at the entrance of underground facilities, it prevents flood damage
through the closing mechanism by buoyance in case of localized water damage caused by heavy rain, etc. It can be applied
as the gate at the opening of seawall.
