There are both infrared / ultraviolet detection method and infrared three-wavelength detection method.
Infrared 3-wavelength flame detector identifies fire by detecting the wavelength of the resonant radiation energy of CO2 generated during the combustion reaction.
It is also fundamentally excluded from non-fire protection, and shows high reliability in detecting fire.
The combined infrared / ultraviolet flame detector identifies fire by detecting the resonance radiation energy of CO2 and ultraviolet rays generated during the combustion reaction.
In particular, it has excellent sensitivity to fires that do not emit CO2 during combustion, such as hydrogen gas.
