  The data stored in the protected disk are encrypted with 192- or 256-bit encryption. Since they are not accessible randomly, data breach can be prevented even if the disk is lost. ​ 

3. Anti-theft and anti-loss alarm 

  When the connection between your smartphone and PairingU is broken during use, the protected disk is automatically locked. Then, an alarm goes off in the pairingU and smartphone, thus preventing both theft and loss​. 

4. Real time usage monitoring  

  Reading or writing pairingU data can be monitored through your smartphone, enabling you to detect unauthorized or illegal use. 

5. Automatically logged out after a preset time  ‘AUTO LOGOUT TIMER’. 

  For user convenience, if the connection with your smartphone is broken, the protected area is automatically disabled, preventing others from randomly using the device. Because of inhibition of such random access, illegal use by an unauthorized user, such as through ransomware, can be prevented.​

6. Multi-user authentication and specific-site user authentication (paid service) 

  In addition to the original user, another user such as manager or supervisor (one- time password) should be authenticated, preventing the leak of important data. The specific-site user authentication is an AP-based user authentication method under which a user can be authenticated within the effective distance only. ​
